Our Mission

The mission of the Myers-Lawson School of Construction is to enhance Virginia Tech’s strong position of national leadership in construction outreach, research and education.  The School will provide opportunities for faculty, alumni, students and ideas to flow across disciplines, departments and nations through collaboration, cooperation and contribution to a common vision.

Our students will come first

We will educate inquisitive values based leaders, thinkers, and integrators able to succeed in all sectors of our industry by providing an education founded on technical, managerial, and practical knowledge.
