The first floor lab space of Bishop-Favrao Hall was decorated in an Australian theme by the Young Alumni Committee to commemorate the 1st annual Ron Wakefield Scholarship, named after past professor Ron Wakefield.

Donor Dinner and Grand Opening Gala

On April 30, 2008 key alumni and donors to Bishop-Favrao Hall were invited to attend a private donor dinner in appreciation for the time, effort, and fund raising given to the building. President Steger thanks the groupPresident Steger thanks the group

The next day we celebrated with students, alumni, faculty, board members, and the campus community for the Grand Opening Gala. Over 300 people attended and the celebration was joyful.

Awards were given, scholarship recipients were acknowledged and donors thanked. Food, drinks and music permeated every floor along with laughter and conversation.
