Job Description

Position Summary:

The postition's responsibilities will include all aspects of estimating including preconstruction, hard bids, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor relations and staying abreast of industry developments applicable to estimating.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptual Estimating

• Meet with subcontractors to build relationships and teamwork

• Lump Sum Bidding

• Attend Site Visits

• Review scope of submitted quotation with subcontractors

• Attend Industry Fuctions

Skills:

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans and specifications at the different phases of design

• Working Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs

• Understanding of construction documents

• Knowledge of each CSI section and how they are performed

• Ability to coordinate plans, details, and specifications

• Knowledge of MC2 and On-Screen estimating software is helpful
