| Required Qualifications: | GENERAL: Enthusiasm and willingness to learn PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Bending, stooping, climbing ladders/stairs, heavy lifting, pushing, moving from one location to another; exposure to dust, noise and weather-related conditions EQUIPMENT: Computer, facsimile machine, copy machine, telephone, calculator, hand tools, motorized construction equipment, and in some cases, dump trucks, bobcats, backhoes, cherry pickers, and forklifts. |
Job Description
VIRTEXCO Corp. has openings for summer interns interested in commercial plumbing and HVAC practical applications. VIRTEXCO Corp is a general contractor that self performs its own HVAC and plumbing. This is a great opportunity for students enrolled in engineering school who are interested in HVAC and plumbing systems or who want to work for a mechanical contractor. The position will allow students to apply classroom knowledge to the real world applications of large commercial heating and air conditioning and plumbing systems. Students will gain hands on experience in both project management and field operations as well as practical knowledge of sophisticated mechanical systems. Students will be assigned project responsibilities and work closely with senior project managers.
