Proficiency with construction scheduling and management software applications preferred--e.g., Timberline, Microsoft Office, Agtek Earthwork 3D, Autocad, Primavera Project Planner. |
Job Description
The Estimator works within the Pre-Construction Department on all tasks necessary to initiate the creation of a formal bid document that will serve as the basis for individual project Budget Books. This compilation will be initiated at concept stage and maintained through the incremental estimating stages of 30%-60%-90% to completion. The final, approved document will be the basis for the Accounting budget for that project, and all back-up information will be cataloged for use as needed.
Estimator's responsibilities will include developing material take-off's, soliciting hard bids, negotiated bids and developing completed budgets.
