A. Ross Myers: CEO

A. Ross Myers

CEO of American Infrastructure

PO Box 98
Worcester, PA 19490

A. Ross Myers is CEO of American Infrastructure, a large contracting firm headquartered in Worcester, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, class of 1972. Upon graduation from college, he went to work for the family business, then known as Allan A. Myers and Son, becoming the president of the company in 1983.

From a total of ten employees in 1972, the company - now known as American Infrastructure - presently employs over 2,000 employees, with over half that growth coming in the last several years. Under his direction, the company has earned industry-wide recognition for its progressive and innovative management, its highly skilled workforce and unparalleled levels of quality and customer satisfaction. American Infrastructure is nationally ranked in Engineering News Record's Top 50 Heavy Contractors and has been named as one of Pennsylvania's Top 100 Places to Work.

Ross sits on the Advisory Board at Virginia Tech and is the chairman of the School of Construction, a liaison between the construction industry and the academic community and the only organization of its kind in the United States. In conjunction with a fellow fraternity brother, each pledged money to found the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. Together they plan to build a school of national prominence that will be a beacon of excellence in the construction industry.

In the community, Ross Myers is known for his service in many quarters, including New Life Youth and Family Services, where he founded and funds the organization's athletic programs. He is responsible for the establishment of a memorial scholarship at the local community college, begun in 1986, honoring his father, Allan C. Myers. As of 2006, the Montgomery County Community College has awarded over 225 scholarships. Both personally and through his company, he supports numerous local and national charities.

As an engineer and student of historical architecture, Ross has been responsible for the restoration and/or adaptive re-use of many old Pennsylvania buildings and structures.

Ross and his wife, Beth, have six children. In additional to historic building restorations they enjoy vintage car racing and skiing.
