Biography

Dr. Christine Fiori brings a varied background of leadership and service to the Myers-Lawson School of Construction. She received her PhD in Civil Engineering from Drexel University in 1997, served as a Civil Engineering officer in the United States Air Force and was a faculty member in the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University. She joined the Myers-Lawson School of Construction faculty in 2007 and serves as the Assistant Director for Undergraduate Programs, Industry Relations and Outreach. She has served in several leadership and mentorship roles throughout her academic and professional careers. She has conducted educational development programs for professional societies, contractor associations and university groups to include the Arizona Chapters of the Associated General Contractors and the American Subcontractors Association.

2005 Ira Fulton School of Engineering Outstanding Faculty Member Award
2002-2003 Student Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America Outstanding Service as a Faculty Advisor award.
2000 American Society of Civil Engineers Certificate of Commendation for Outstanding Service as a Faculty Advisor to the Student Chapter of the United States Air Force Academy

Research Interests

Construction in developing countries, geotechnical engineering, construction workforce issues, construction education, construction safety.
