Monday, February 20 - Career Fair Social

Tuesday, February 21 - Construction Industry Career Fair
- Inn at Virginia Tech
- 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Company Check-In and Setup
- 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Career Fair
- 4 - 5 p.m. - Company Tear Down
Wednesday, February 22 - Interviews*
- *Interview spaces are only available for companies that are at the gold and silver levels. Those at the bronze level can get on the waitlist. We encourage companies at Bronze and Base levels to utilize spots around campus and the Blacksburg Community for interviews. They will NOT be in the Ballroom at the Inn, but around the campus the following day.
Important Dates
December 19 - Invoices and booth assignments will be sent out
January 31 - Career Fair payment deadline
February 14 - Resume Books sent out (Note: if we have not received your invoice payment, we will not send you the resume books until it is paid)
February 16 - Deadline to submit representative information
Pricing
Gold Level - $5,000
- Premiere location - Hallway before entering the ballroom
- Interview booth
Silver Level - $3,000
- Upgraded location - front of the ballroom and the first row
- Interview booth
Bronze Level - $2,000
- Enhanced location - End of ballroom and final row
- Opportunity for interview room waitlist
White/Base Level - $1,500
- Booth in the middle of the ballroom
Included in every tier:
- Booth with table skirt, power strip, signage
- Two representatives* (includes food, chairs, and nametags)
- Resume books
- Career Fair Social access (happens the night before the Career Fair)
*Each additional representative will be $250
Location
The Career Fair and company/student check-in will take place at the Inn at Virginia Tech. Interviews the following day will take place at Bishop-Favrao Hall and the Virginia Tech Career Fair Center.
Your specific booth number will be located on your invoice.
Coronavirus Requirements
COVID-19 guidelines will be compliant with Virginia Tech policies which can be found here. Under current guidelines, masks are not required.

Myers-Lawson School of Construction is not responsible for any lost or delayed shipping. If you have a question about shipping your materials please contact 540-362-3940 or service@hollins-expo.com. The company requires your materials to arrive by Thursday, February 16th.
Resume Books
Ahead of the Career Fair, we will be sending out resume books. We recommend you use these books to reach out to students you are interested in and invite them to come to your booth. These will be sent on February 14. If you are not able to attend this year's Career Fair, but will still like to purchase the books for $350, please fill out this form.
Social Sponsorships
Sponsorships for the social are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a great opportunity to get your name out there as a company and make yourself stand out before the Career Fair the following day. If you are interested email our Outreach and Engagement Coordinator, Ashely Williamson.
Bar Sponsor - $3,000 (4 total available)
- Plaque with logo, made by our Build Lab, displayed on the designated bar
- Logo included in all print promotional materials

Interest Meeting
If your company would like to hold an interest meeting for students ahead of the Career Fair, please email mlsoc@vt.edu with your preferred times. We are happy to help set you up with a room.
