2015 CEM Graduate Honored as 2018 New Face of Civil Engineering by ASCE

The American Society of Civil Engineering has honored Casie Venable as a 2018 New Face of Civil Engineering. Venable graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015, where she earned a dual degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering and Management. Venable is currently a Ph.D. Student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Civil, Environment, and Architectural Engineering. MLSOC INDUSTRY BOARD MEMBER KIM ROY NAMED CEO OF HITT CONTRACTING

Hitt Contracting, an 80-year-old Falls Church-based general contractor with offices throughout the country, has just undergone a major leadership shake-up. Kim Roy, 41, who has been with the company since 1999, was named CEO. John Lawson wins ENR MidAtlantic Legacy Award

John Lawson

John Lawson, one of the two founding members of the Myers-Lawson School of Construction has been recognized for ENR MidAtlantic Legacy Award. This is the first award of its kind and recognizes John Lawson for his over forty years of dedication to the construction industry. Lawson has helped grow the W.M.
