Tyler Shawcross takes Virginia Tech's motto, "Ut Prosim" (That I may serve) to a whole new level.

A recent Construction Engineering & Management (CEM) graduate, Tyler Shawcross takes Virginia Tech's motto, "Ut Prosim" (That I may serve) to a whole new level. To merely say that Tyler was an active volunteer with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter would be a tremendous understatement. VT Students working with Augusta Farm to create a Special Needs Camp

A team of construction students from the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech is helping with green building and layout

A sustainable building team, comprised of Virginia Tech construction students and led by Dr. Annie Pearce, visited an Augusta County farm that the owners plan to convert into a summer camp for children with special needs.  The hope is that this summer camp could become the first to be Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified.  Read more about VT Students working with Augusta Farm to create a Special Needs Camp
